Jessy
I am the owner and founder of Electric Strawberry. I’ve been piercing since 2006. Being a piercer is not only what I do, but who I am. Over my many years in the industry I have really fallen in love with piercing, fine jewelry, and forever learning my craft. As the industry has boomed into the mainstream, a frenzy of poor quality, fast and cheap services have flooded the market. I feel this is stealing the soul of our industry. As they go bigger… I wanted to go smaller. I want to create a boutique style studio that emphasizes the professionalism of our piercers, and the beauty of our jewelry all in a calm inclusive space where all are welcome.
Jo
I use she/they/he pronouns. I began my career working for a high-volume studio and then moved on to studio management. A few years after an industry hiatus I decided to get back to the career I love: body piercing! We are happy to have this fun-loving cat mom on our team!
Elise
I use she/her pronouns. I graduated from Hamline University in 2020 with a degree in Legal Studies and Women’s Studies.
I began my training in 2017, then pierced full time for two years, and eventually took a mini hiatus to explore career paths after graduating. I have always been drawn back to the body art industry because it is such a beautiful, technical, and creative outlet.
I am very lucky to have joined the Electric Strawberry team where the good times roll and the learning never ends. I always look forward to providing folks with a safe space for self expression!
Kalei
I use she/her pronouns. I started my body piercing career in 2018 and am so excited to be at Electric Strawberry! I’ve always been a lover of self-expression as well as any creative outlets I can find. I’m of Polynesian (Hawaiian and Phillipino) descent and Minnesota born. In my free time, you can probably catch me eating soup, watching horror movies, camping, snuggling my cats or going on adventures with my two Staffirdshire mixed pups. I am so thankful to do what I love and work in such a beautiful and welcoming studio where all walks of life are accepted and celebrated.
